School Dinners
The school meals, cooked and served in Ysgolion Mochdre canteens comply with the Healthy Food in Schools Regulations 2013. A drink of fresh water is available everyday to all children. Wholemeal bread and fresh fruit are also available daily.
Parent Pay
Ysgolion Mochdre use an online system called Parent Pay to pay for school dinners.

We ask that you notify the school secretary if there are any issues with Parent Pay.
Packed Lunches
Pupils may bring their own sandwiches to school
if they wish, but we encourage parents to provide balanced and nutritious options in their children's lunchbox and encourage them to try a variety new foods to promote healthy lifestyles.

Allergies / Specific Needs
Should a special diet be required for your child or if certain foods are not to be eaten, please notify the school so our school cooks can be made aware and special diets can be catered for. More information regarding allergies is available on the School Dinner Menu (shown below) and every item on the menu lists which allergens are used as ingredients.
